GAIA participated in the GenAISA Project Kick-off in Greece on 03-04th of december
GAIA participated in the kick-off meeting of the GenAISA project, which brings together a consortium of organizations from across Europe. The meeting was held on the 03rd and 04th of December in Patras, a city located approximately 300 kilometers from Athens and home to the University of Patras, the project leader.
The project aims to create two curricula related to Artificial Intelligence: one focused on higher education and the other on vocational education and training. For this reason, participants in the project are mixed between educational institutions and industry representatives.
The hosts organized two productive and well-structured days. Meetings featured presentations on the work packages, discussions of key proposals, and debates on essential strategic aspects. Topics included the platform to use for hosting the courses online, the feasibility of creating a virtual world to publish the courses, and the final project logo. In this way, the GenAISA project is beginning to take shape and define its direction. The second day, ended with a lunch that included a pleasant surprise for attendees.
The next in-person meeting will take place in Barcelona, hosted by RMIT Europe. We would like to thank our hosts University of Patras for the great hosting. This project will have a duration of three years and will last until the end of 2027.
