We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the SMACITE and the CHAISE Erasmus+ projects through which we aim to boost key technologies at a European level.
The main focus of the CHAISE project is to develop a strategic approach on blockchain skills development for Europe as well as to deliver future-proof training solutions, in order to tackle blockchain skill shortages and to respond to the current and future skill needs of the European Blockchain workforce.
The main objectives of the CHAISE project s are the following:

🎓An innovative 5-semester Blockchain VET Programme in 11 EU languages
💼The first-ever “blockchain specialist” occupational profile
🔗A European Blockchain Skills Ecosystem
🌍Transnational mobility schemes for Blockchain students & professionals
🔎A forecasting mechanism to anticipate future blockchain skill needs
The collaboration between these two projects aims to enhance comprehensive education ecosystems by integrating smart city competencies with specialized blockchain expertise. It fosters interdisciplinary innovation through the application of blockchain technology in smart city solutions and promotes inclusive talent development, ensuring equitable opportunities as industries evolve.
This Memorandum of Understanding establishes a strong foundation for continued cooperation, enabling the sharing of resources and strategies to expand educational opportunities across Europe.
