The partners of the consortium are based in Centro Region, Basque Country,
Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Greater Dublin Area and Western Ireland.

The Blue
Economy stakeholders from the Interreg Atlantic Area will
identify the most pressing challenges in this region. Based on
these challenges, ADT4Blue will launch 3 Open Calls (2024, 2025
and 2026) directed at students, alumni, researchers and
early-stage entrepreneurs (including seniors) from the
inter-regional ecosystem that have an interest in the Blue
Economy and in solving these challenges using ADT. Applicants
will be encouraged to form multidisciplinary and inter-regional
teams to work on their proposed digital solution; selected
teams will integrate the ADT4Blue’s accelerator program,
receive free training and mentoring, as well as support in
finding initial funding and customers to develop their digital
solution and bootstrap their ventures. ADT4Blue will also
contribute to the creation of a thriving Atlantic Area Blue
Economy Ecosystem, encouraging collaboration between
inter-regional actors, promoting the development of innovative
usages of digital technologies and facilitating the adoption of
best practices.

Irish Stakeholders Workshop
On June 25th, the Irish
Blue Economy Challenges Workshop took
place, organized by our partners CeADAR
(University College Dublin), F6S
Innovation, and the University of Galway.
The workshop aimed to
identify the current challenges faced by
Ireland’s Blue Economy sector by engaging
with key stakeholders.

ADT4Blue 1st Open
Call
The 1st Open Call will be launched in October
2024.
The
application process consists of two phases: (1) a matchmaking
event to form teams and develop proposals for digital solutions
to specific challenges; and (2) the submission of proposals.
The selected teams will then be integrated into the ADT4Blue Accelerator
Programme, receiving tailored training and mentorship to
enhance their skills and solutions, with opportunities to pitch
for funding and finding initialcustomers. More info about our
